Car salesman's name lives on Pazar's name was signed on ''autograms'' sent to his former customers.The letters offered a free oil change and encouraged customers to consider trading in their cars for new ones. Reed motors had pazar's name removed several months ago, reed said, after someone alerted the dealership.Reed said he does not know who contacted the dealership, but that it was not pazar. ''He never informed us not to use them, '' Reed said. Burruezo said he wrote a letter in april asking reed motors to stop using pazar's name and also asking for a cash settlement.The amount was not disclosed. ''Independent dealers in this town are having a very hard time surviving.'' Zoning regulations on signs were too restrictive, wynn said, and made it difficult to attract customers. ''They fought us.We fought with them.It took me two or three months to get a sign up, '' she said. The college park location also was unfamiliar to callers from outside the area, she said.''I talked to too many who called me that didn't know where College Park was and where Edgewater Drive was.''
